In April 1933 during a dramaticconversionexperience, he reported dying three times in 10 minutes,each timeseeing the horrors of hell and then returning to life. Healso sayshe was raised from his deathbed on August 8, 1934 by"therevelation of faith in God's Word" (Kenneth Hagin, I Went toHelland What Faith Is).[2]Two years later he preached his first sermon as the pastor ofasmall community church in Roland, Texas, 9 miles (14 km)fromMcKinney. During the next twelve years he pastored fiveAssembliesof God churches in Texas: in the cities of Tom Bean,Farmersville(twice), Talco, Greggton, Texas, and Van.[1]Establishing a faith-based organization[edit]Hagin began an itinerant ministry as a Bible teacher andevangelistin 1949. Hagin was at this time also given full admissionto theFull Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International (alsoknown asthe FGBMFI) which had been established in 1951. He was alsoa partof the Voice of Healing Revival in the U.S. in the 40s and50stogether with Oral Roberts, Gordon Lindsay and T. L. Osborn.In1963, Kenneth E. Hagin Evangelistic Association wasincorporated,and the offices of the ministry moved to Tulsa,Oklahoma in 1966.That same year, he taught for the first time onradio — on KSKY inDallas. In 1967, he began a regular radiobroadcast that continuestoday as Faith Seminar of the Air. This is one of the few soups in Nigeriancuisinethat can be drunk alone and is not only used as a sauce foracarbohydrate main dish such as fufu or pounded yam.[2]Afang is a vegetable soup which originated with the Efik peopleinthe southeast of Nigeria.Corn soup, also known locally as omi ukpoka, is made with grounddrycorn and blended with smoked fish.
